The coloured quartz sand GRANUCOL is imported from the German manufacturer brand DORFNER GmbH. They are active in the production and treatment of quartz sand since 1895 and have extensive know how, whereas their state-of-the-art dying facility guarantees excellent quality and colour consistency, at every batch.
The coloured sand GRANUCOL is produced from quartz sand of exceptional quality and high levels of purity (SiO2 >99%). It is available in most RAL colours. Depending on the application the colour sand is intended for, suitable dyes – organic and inorganic – are used which offer the product high resistance to challenging conditions such as intense mechanical strain and external environment conditions.
The coloured quartz sand GRANUCOL is used for the production of architectural resinous floors, special decorative varnishes such as acrylic plaster, the production of coloured joints’ sealants and sports facilities surfaces.
